Club runs suspended due to Welsh lockdown

Pegs Christmas 2020 Message
As we look forward to the Christmas break let’s take a quick look back at 2020 and see what we have coming up in 2021.
Well what a year it has been! Despite all that has gone on, we have been able to keep the social runs and Tuesday sessions going in between lockdowns. And of course we have had our virtual club handicap series to keep us all challenged.
Looking ahead to 2021
A new committee is in place and on the back of the member survey we have some exciting plans. First we felt it important to take a look at how we see ourselves as a club. This is so that we can describe ourselves to any potential new members. The word cloud below is formed from the responses to the member survey, and it is looking very positive! We will be using a version of this word cloud to advertise the club on the website. Also a new vision statement will be posted shortly incorporating most of these words.
We’ll be announcing new ways to find out what’s going on with the club and keep in contact with fellow members. You can expect to see regular updates on Facebook, our new club website as well as Instagram and Twitter. We are are exploring a new group chat feature. We are also hoping to introduce new regular runs, more advertising of the group both at LRC and at events to attract new members and more social events. Lots to look forward to over the next few months! We hope you are as excited as we are about the future of the club.
In the meantime please do take time off over Christmas to relax, unwind and recharge, and we look forward to seeing you all again in 2021. Stay safe!

Lejog 2021 Virtual Challenge

Hi Pegasus Running Club,
We hope you are well.
As a quick introduction we are a small running company based in Hampshire, who have recently opened up entries to our popular Land’s End to John O’Groats Virtual Challenge starting on 1st January 2021.
In light of the current pandemic, resulting in the majority of races being cancelled/postponed we have found that many runners are switching their focus to virtual events in order to stay motivated whilst still earning themselves some extra bling for their medal hangers.
As a business we are more driven than ever to ensure we can provide countless runners with the opportunity to challenge themselves during next year, where in all honesty no one really knows when races may return.
We would therefore be hugely grateful if you might be able to share with your club a summary of our event (see below) along with the website details to sign up.
