Have you ever thought of joining a running club but didn’t know where to start? Are you unsure if you are at the right level to do so? Good news – Pegasus Running Club is currently offering a free trial membership until March 2021, with the following benefits:

There’s nothing to pay for this trial membership and no obligation to continue after March. If you decide to join us in March, you can get a full membership including the following benefits from just £40:

We also will be returning to regular weekly training runs once the lockdown is over, and club membership fees can include free parking and changing facilities (please ask for more information).

I see you are offering a free trial until March, I am interested in running with you guys, but I would only be able to join you on a sat die to bring in the Army and away in the week, let me know if this would be ok or even if I just meet up with you guys and run a few times.

Hi Gemma, great to hear from you. Yes, members were meeting on weekends for ad-hoc runs prior to lockdown, usually 8-14 miles. And we are hoping to organise club training runs at the weekend too, again after lockdown, although they might be shorter distances. We also participate in some of the Cardiff Parkruns which are Saturday mornings, and of course there are usually weekend races once the restrictions have been lifted.
Are you on Facebook? If so the free trial membership will let you to get to know the club a bit better through our Facebook group, find out who runs at weekends and also we can get you help with any training you are doing.
If that is of interest please can you complete the membership form here https://pegasusrunningclub.org.uk/downloads/membership-renewal-form/ Choose the option “yes” under “Are you opting to join now” but ignore the part about paying £26 as the trial is free. We can then get you access to the Facebook page.
You won’t get Welsh Athletics membership until your full membership kicks in in April, but at least joining us now will get the benefits above.
