Another busy year in the world of racing and although we are a small club we have had a representative at so many events this year. The range of events has been phenomenal and some only attract one or two members whereas others can see the whole club turn out. Despite being a small club we still managed to achieve some top three in age group placings for several races. A huge well done to all those who achieved this and just remember “You have to be in it to win it” so try your best and get out and run.
Parkrun is definitely a firm favourite with many in the club and some have travelled far and wide to participate in these events. Parkrun tourism features a lot in pre marathon destinations and the number of challenges that have been completed this year has kept some of us very entertained. I am sure this will continue well into 2025.

Other – Castle to Castle, Severn Bridge Night Race & Twilight Race, Lliswerry 8. And last but not least Run up to Christmas – I think this is our most competitive running event of the year and sees most of us running or walking those extra few steps to keep up on the Leaderboard.
