Our Tuesday evening sessions currently start and finish at Cathedral Green, Llandaff. We do Coached sessions. We start at 7pm and aim to finish about 7:45pm / 8pm. All sessions are led by qualified Run Leaders.
These sessions are a great way to improve your running technique in specific areas. They are inclusive to everyone, and it’s challenge by choice so you can work as hard as you want.
Speed sessions
An example speed session would be: Warm up, followed by 5 x 30 second sprint, with 30 second recovery in between, then 5 x 45 second sprint with 45 second recovery in between, and then 5 x 60 seconds following the same format and finally a cool down
Hill sessions
An example Hill session would be: Warm up, followed by 3 minute constant running up/down hill, then a 1 minute recovery. Then 5 x 30 second hill sprints, with a walk recovery in between. We might run up hill to the first lamppost, return to the bottom of the hill, then up to the second lamppost and back down, and so on. Finally a cool down.
